Dayo Wong to star in Yanting Chow’s directorial debut ‘Rainy Night Rogue’

Singer and YouTuber Yanting Chow has announced his directorial debut with the thriller film ‘Rainy Night Rogue’. The project has been in development for seven to eight years, involving extensive script revisions.

Dayo Wong is set to star as Lin Wuyun, a character known as the ‘Rainy Night Butcher’. The plot follows a serial killer who is released from prison after serving thirty-eight years, only for a series of murders with identical methods to occur shortly after his release. The story explores whether the protagonist is responsible or if an imitator is at work.

While the female lead has not been officially named, speculation has grown regarding Charmaine Sheh joining the cast after she publicly praised the film's script on social media. If confirmed, this would mark the third collaboration between Wong and Sheh.
