Dayoung denies dating rumors with Jay Park

WJSN member Dayoung has officially denied dating rumors involving singer Jay Park. During a broadcast of KBS2’s ‘The Seasons’, Dayoung addressed speculation regarding the two following the release of their collaboration single, ‘FLIRTY’. When prompted by host Sung Si Kyung about the rumors and circulating photos, Dayoung firmly stated, “No, it’s not.”

Jay Park credited Dayoung’s determination for the rapid development of their musical collaboration, noting that she presented a fully planned proposal that made the project difficult to refuse.

Despite the denial, the promotional campaign for ‘FLIRTY’ has faced backlash from some Korean netizens. Critics have expressed frustration with the marketing strategy, suggesting that the pair’s intimate choreography and the use of dating rumors in promotional materials feel like an outdated attempt to manufacture interest in the song.
