Days to Shine celebrates women's achievements in Dominican Republic

The eighth edition of Days to Shine in the Dominican Republic featured the fifth annual 'Mujeres que Brillan' awards, recognizing 11 women for their professional achievements and impact. Held at the Hotel El Embajador, the ceremony included remarks from Minister of Women Gloria Reyes and music producer Emilio Estefan.

Award recipients included Erika de la Vega as the ceremony's godmother, Tania Báez for reinvention, and Chandra Capozzi for sports. Other honorees included Noribel Medina de Haché (Tourism), Luisa Feliz (Gastronomy), and Alba Vásquez, who was recognized in the 'Next Gen' category as the country's first analog astronaut.

In conjunction with the awards, the event hosted 'El Poder de la Mujer' workshop. Led by CEOs Anyela González and Scarlet García, the session focused on self-esteem, resilience, and leadership to encourage personal and professional growth among attendees.
