Collegiate athletics: Recent results in volleyball, soccer, and football

Various collegiate athletic programs reported recent results across volleyball, soccer, and football.

In volleyball, the top-ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's team swept the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Centre College completed a doubleheader sweep against Southwestern and Berry, while Wesleyan University ended Tufts University's eight-match winning streak. Elsewhere, Georgetown upset Creighton, and William & Mary defeated Elon in straight sets.

In soccer, the No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan men's team secured a 2-0 victory over Saint Francis, led by Mariano Chaves. The University of Dayton women's team earned a 1-0 win against Davidson via a late strike by Ky Hau-Golden, while the Dayton men's team defeated Fordham 2-1. IU Indianapolis and Milwaukee played to a scoreless draw.

In football, Marian University defeated Olivet Nazarene 31-3, utilizing a strong defense to hand the Tigers their first loss of the season.
