DAZN adds 14‑day cancellation right for Italian subscribers

DAZN has revised its subscription terms for Italy, introducing a statutory right of withdrawal that allows users to cancel any new plan or added option within 14 days of activation. The change, effective from 17 July 2026, applies to all regular subscriptions but excludes Pay‑Per‑View events, which remain subject to separate access rules.

Customers must submit a clear request to cancel, either through the dedicated form on DAZN’s website, by email (e.g., dazncs@legalmail.it or help@dazn.com), or by ordinary post. DAZN will process refunds for any payments received, returning amounts within 14 days of the request. If the service was used during the withdrawal period, the company may retain a proportional charge for the portion already consumed. The new 14‑day window replaces the previous exception that barred cancellation once digital content was accessed, providing greater flexibility for Italian users.

The initiative aligns DAZN’s practices with the Italian Consumer Code, granting consumers a clearer path to rescind contracts shortly after signing up.
