DAZN announces leadership transition for DACH region
Alice Mascia will step down as the CEO of DAZN for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) at the end of 2026. Mascia, who has led the sports streaming platform since May 2022, stated that her departure is on her own request and noted that she has fulfilled her mission to prepare the company for sustainable growth and profitability.
Felix Krause is set to succeed Mascia. Krause, who previously spent over six years at DAZN in various strategic roles, will immediately begin as Deputy CEO. He is scheduled to officially assume the role of CEO in 2027. Before his return to DAZN, Krause served as the Chief Digital Business Officer at ProSiebenSat.1 Media.
During Mascia's tenure, DAZN secured significant broadcasting rights, including the Champions League through 2027 and the Bundesliga conference matches. The company also expanded its portfolio to include the Europa League and Conference League starting in the 2027/28 season.
