DAZN replaces Max Kellerman with Mario Lopez on ‘Inside the Ring’

DAZN has announced a major lineup change for the second season of its flagship boxing program, ‘Inside the Ring’. Hollywood actor Mario Lopez will take over as the primary host of the show.

As part of the restructuring, original host Max Kellerman and analyst LeSean McCoy will not return for the upcoming season. While Kellerman is departing the program, Mike Coppinger will remain with the show, transitioning from a co-host role to serving as the lead insider alongside Lopez and a rotating panel of boxing experts.

The second season is scheduled to premiere this Thursday and will expand its reach by airing twice weekly on both DAZN and Ring Magazine’s YouTube channels. Lopez, known for his work on ‘Saved by the Bell’ and ‘Extra’, brings personal boxing training experience to the role, having trained at Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Boxing Club.
