DAZN reports $979.7 million loss in first consolidated UK accounts
Sports streaming service DAZN reported a loss of $979.7 million for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, according to its first consolidated group accounts filed in the UK. While revenue increased by 22.2% to $3.8 billion, operating costs rose to $4.74 billion, resulting in an operating loss of $939.8 million.
Sports rights costs remained relatively stable at approximately $3.01 billion. However, costs excluding rights doubled to $1.73 billion, driven largely by an increase in management charges from other DAZN group companies, which rose from $15.3 million to $575.1 million. The company's net liabilities also nearly doubled, reaching $2.41 billion.
