DAZN secures exclusive global broadcast rights for 2026 FIFA World Cup

DAZN will be the sole official broadcaster of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, transmitting all 104 matches—from the opening game to the final on 19 July—through its platform with Italian commentary, highlights, goal collections and original shows. The partnership with FIFA expands to include FIFA+, offering roughly 8,500 live matches per year and a vast archive of past World Cups and women’s tournaments. DAZN’s coverage will run up to 16 hours daily, feature about 1,000 live events, and provide interactive tools such as live chat with players, quizzes and a FanZone community.

CEO Shay Segev said the deal marks a “great satisfaction,” noting that DAZN is the only broadcaster delivering the tournament in three key markets—Italy, Spain and Japan—underscoring the company’s growing reputation as a global sports‑rights partner. The service will also stream upcoming youth competitions, including the FIFA U‑20 Women’s World Cup in Poland, the U‑17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco and the U‑17 World Cup in Qatar, reinforcing DAZN’s role as a central hub for football content worldwide.
