DAZN secures Formula 1 broadcasting rights in Spain until 2030

DAZN and Formula 1 have announced a contract renewal that extends the digital platform's exclusive broadcasting rights for the championship in Spain, Andorra, and Portugal until 2030.

The agreement ensures comprehensive coverage of all sessions, including practice sessions, qualifying, sprint races, and main Grand Prix races. In addition to Formula 1, the platform will continue to broadcast related categories such as Formula 2, Formula 3, F1 Academy, and the Porsche Supercup.

Commentary for the sessions will remain led by the established team of Antonio Lobato, Pedro de la Rosa, and Toni Cuquerella. Ian Holmes, Formula 1's Director of Media Rights and Content Creation, noted that the partnership has been fundamental in growing the sport's audience in these markets, particularly among younger demographics.
