DAZN Secures Local Streaming Rights for Multiple NBA Teams and MSG/YES Networks

London‑based streaming service DAZN is set to become a major distributor of local NBA and other sports content in the United States. The company will replace the Gotham Sports app as the streaming home for MSG Networks and YES Network, delivering live coverage of the New York Yankees, Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, Nets and Sabres, as well as 24/7 feeds of the regional sports networks.

DAZN is also negotiating deals with up to ten NBA franchises, including confirmed exclusive streaming rights for the Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves, with possible agreements for the Orlando Magic, Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards. CEO Shay Segev said the U.S. "is the biggest market in the world for sports" and affirmed that the move is "not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when". Existing RSN subscribers will retain access to the streams on DAZN at no additional cost, with the transition slated for the 2026‑27 season.
