Nigerian singer D'banj, born Daniel Oyebanjo, has shared an emotional tribute to his late son, Daniel Oyebanjo III, via social media. The singer expressed his longing for his son and reflected on the profound impact the child had on his life.

Daniel Oyebanjo III passed away in June 2018 following a drowning incident in a swimming pool at the singer’s home in Lagos. D'banj noted that while the loss was a significant test, he and his family, including the boy’s mother and siblings, are now in a “safe space.”

The musician previously credited the support of his fans for helping him and his family navigate the difficult period following the tragedy.
