Dąbrowa Górnicza prosecutor investigates death of 13-year-old

A 13-year-old boy, known as Adaś, has died in Dąbrowa Górnicza following a suicide attempt at his home. Despite medical efforts, the teenager passed away in the hospital on August 1.

The local prosecutor's office has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the death, specifically looking into whether anyone induced or led the minor to take his own life. Czesław Kurpiś, deputy district prosecutor in Dąbrowa Górnicza, stated, "The investigation is at an early stage and has been initiated in terms of leading to or inciting suicide."

Teachers and school officials noted that the boy was an active student and football player who showed no previous signs of a mental health crisis. Local authorities have provided psychological support to the family.
