DC Comics announces Absolute Justice crossover event

DC Comics has officially announced ‘Absolute Justice’, a five-issue crossover miniseries set to launch in April 2027. Revealed during a panel at New York Comic Con, the event will bring together the alternate-universe heroes of the Absolute Universe for the first time.

The series will be written by Jason Aaron with art by Juan Ferreyra. Martian Manhunter is identified as the central figure and the driving force responsible for uniting the team. The lineup is expected to include Absolute versions of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern (Jo Mullein), and The Flash.

According to writer Scott Snyder, the crossover is designed to explore deeper Absolute lore without disrupting ongoing solo titles or requiring tie-in issues. The Absolute imprint has seen significant commercial success, with the Absolute line selling over 8.2 million copies last year, led by the high performance of Absolute Batman.
