DC media updates: Absolute Universe reimaginings and Lanterns finale

The DC Absolute Universe continues to reimagine established characters through subverted mythologies. In the Absolute Wonder Woman series, Diana is raised by Circe in Hell, transforming a traditional villain into a maternal figure. This run has featured confrontations with various foes, including Cheetah, Giganta, and Medusa.

Separately, the HBO series ‘Lanterns’ is approaching its first season finale with Episode 8, scheduled to premiere on October 4. The finale is expected to address unresolved plot points, including the fate of John Stewart, the mystery surrounding Hal Jordan’s death, and the reasons behind Sinestro’s release from confinement.
