DC Studios announces cast for animated Mister Miracle series

DC Studios has announced the voice cast for the upcoming animated Mister Miracle series, which will be part of the DC Universe (DCU). Josh Hutcherson will voice Mister Miracle (Scott Free), and Mackenzie Davis will voice Big Barda.

Written by Tom King and based on his award-winning comic book series, the 12-part animated project follows the characters amidst the eternal conflict between Apokolips and New Genesis. DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn confirmed the series is canon to the DCU.

Industry observers note that the series may serve as a significant test for the DCU's continuity strategy, as Gunn has previously stated that actors will play the same roles across film, television, and animation. This approach could lead to the animated cast reprising their roles in live-action productions.
