DC Studios announces second season of “Krypto Saves the Day!”

Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios have released a trailer for the second season of the animated series “Krypto Saves the Day!”. The new season is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, September 10, 2026, on HBO Max and the DC Kids YouTube channel.

The short-form series follows the adventures of Superman’s canine companion, Krypto, in Metropolis. While inspired by the DC Studios film universe, the series exists outside the official DCU continuity. The upcoming season is expected to consist of four episodes.

Returning voice actors include Teigo Dawson as Superman and Milly Alcock as Supergirl. New artwork indicates an expanded cast of characters will appear, including Lobo, Mr. Terrific, Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, and Lex Luthor. The series is executive produced by DC Studios co-chairmen James Gunn and Peter Safran, alongside Warner Bros. Animation President Sam Register.
