DC Studios Unveils New Batman Knightfall Trailer and Animated Series

At the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation premiered the first trailer of the upcoming animated trilogy “Batman: Knightfall”. The trailer shows an enhanced Bane, voiced by Michael Mando, freeing Batman’s rogue’s gallery from Arkham and forcing the caped crusader, voiced by Anson Mount, to the brink of his mental and physical limits.

The same event also announced three new DC animated series slated for future release: “Absolute Batman”, based on Scott Snyder’s acclaimed comic run with Snyder and artist Nick Dragotta attached as producer; “Joker: Laugh Riot”, DC’s first anime series that imagines a world where Batman is dead and Joker hunts his killer; and a family‑friendly “Krypto” show produced by C. H. Greenblatt.
