DC Super Powers animated series receives new first look

Digital eMation has released a new first-look image for the upcoming animated series ‘DC Super Powers,’ a production from Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios. The series is set at the Justice League Academy (also referred to as the Alliance School for Heroes), where young aspiring superheroes undergo training to become licensed champions.

The student roster includes characters such as Black Lightning, The Flash (Jesse Chambers), Plastic Man, Terra, Aquagirl, and Green Lantern (Guy Gardner). Under the supervision of figures like Principal Martian Manhunter, these students work to master their abilities and overcome personal insecurities. As they succeed in their studies, characters may receive permanent power upgrades.

Adult heroes, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Black Canary, and Mister Terrific, are also expected to appear. The project, which draws inspiration from an 80s toy line, is being executive produced by Matt Beans with Michael Chang serving as supervising producer. An official premiere date has not yet been announced.
