DC Super Powers Toy Line Returns with Superman Red and Blue Figures

Kenner’s original Super Powers line in the 1980s was the first to offer major DC heroes such as the Flash and Green Lantern as action figures, and it remains a collector favourite. The line’s roster also included many lesser‑known characters, and prototype figures like Man‑Bat were discovered years later, highlighting the line’s historical significance.

McFarlane Toys, through Entertainment Earth, has announced a new Wave 15 of the retro‑styled DC Super Powers line. The six‑figure case features Superman Red and Superman Blue—based on the late‑1990s storyline where a lab accident split Superman into two energy‑based beings—as well as Batgirl, a 1990s‑styled Batman, Red Tornado and Harley Quinn. Each figure has seven points of articulation, is packaged on blister cards with updated artwork, and is priced at US$80 with free U.S. shipping. Pre‑orders open now with an estimated arrival in October 2026.
