DC Virunga prepares for CAF Confederation Cup match against Bazar Brothers

DC Virunga of Goma is preparing for a decisive CAF Confederation Cup first-round preliminary match against Seychelles' Bazar Brothers. The club recently received a significant logistical boost from its partner, Modern Construction Congo (MCC). The donation, presented by MCC CEO Harish Jagtani to club coordinator Patrick Munyomo, includes a large bus, a minibus, and 45 motorcycles to enhance the team's mobility.

The team held its final training sessions at the Université Pédagogique Nationale (UPN) in Kinshasa before traveling to Pretoria, South Africa. The return leg of the match is scheduled for September 13, 2026, at Stadium Lucas Moripe. Coach Ahmid Brimil and player Enock Bolenga have expressed confidence and determination to secure a victory and advance to the second round.
