DCENT rebrands to expand digital asset management services

ioTrust, the digital asset wallet specialist, has announced a rebranding of its D’CENT brand to ‘DCENT’ to mark its eighth anniversary. The company is expanding its business scope from simple asset storage to a comprehensive digital asset experience brand that includes backup, recovery, management, and utilization.

As part of this transition, ioTrust unveiled the ‘DCENT X’, a premium hardware wallet featuring a 2.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen and fingerprint authentication. This joins the existing ‘DCENT S’ card-type wallet in the product lineup. Both the DCENT X and DCENT S utilize a ‘Recovery Card’ system to simplify the backup and recovery process, moving away from the traditional method of manually recording recovery phrases.

The company is also targeting the institutional market with ‘DCENT Enterprise’, a solution designed for organizations to manage digital assets with internal controls such as multi-signature approval. DCENT currently supports over 100 blockchain networks and more than 10,000 tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP Ledger, Solana, and Stellar.
