DCP and Pacific Meta partner to commercialize tokenized deposits

DCP and Pacific Meta have entered into a partnership to support the commercialization and expansion of tokenized deposits. The collaboration aims to facilitate the implementation of on-chain finance, covering everything from issuance by financial institutions to practical utilization by businesses.

DCP will provide its tokenized deposit platform, financial institution networks, and expertise in regulatory compliance. Pacific Meta will contribute its blockchain development capabilities, business strategy expertise, and network of engineers and corporate clients. Together, they intend to provide total solutions, including system development, use case planning—such as automated B2B payments in supply chains—and information dissemination to promote understanding of on-chain finance.

The partnership follows recent policy signals in Japan, including the Financial Services Agency’s 2026 administrative policy, which emphasizes the advancement of financial infrastructure through on-chain finance. The companies plan to launch projects ranging from proof-of-concept (PoC) trials to full commercialization.
