D&D Pharmatech to present obesity drug candidate DD18 preclinical data at ObesityWeek

D&D Pharmatech has announced that it will present preclinical research results for its new obesity drug candidate, the UCN2 analog DD18, at ObesityWeek 2026 in Washington, D.C. The conference is scheduled to take place from November 14 to 17.

DD18 is a CRFR2-selective UCN2 analog designed to improve the quality of weight loss by selectively reducing body fat while preserving lean body mass, such as muscle. This mechanism differs from existing GLP-1 based treatments, which often result in the loss of both fat and muscle.

The company aims to leverage these preclinical findings to accelerate development, with goals to enter clinical trials by 2026 or 2027. D&D Pharmatech also intends to use the global platform to seek potential business partnerships and maximize the technical value of its pipeline.
