Dédalo Foundation brings programming and VR to rural students

The ‘Tecnólogas en Acción’ initiative will bring programming and virtual reality education to 197 students in rural areas of the Ribera region. Running from September to November, the itinerant project aims to spark scientific and technological interest among primary school students while working to reduce gender barriers in technical disciplines.

The project is supported by the Government of Navarra through the ‘COSMOS 2026’ program, which promotes scientific culture and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) vocations. Developed by the Dédalo Foundation, the program evolves from the previous ‘Ingenieras del Futuro’ project, moving from general outreach to a hands-on model where students act as active designers using virtual reality and programming tools.
