De Cecco Institute transitions to Higher Education in Pescara

The De Cecco Hotel Institute in Pescara has officially inaugurated the 2026/2027 school year, marking its transition from a vocational school to an Institute of Higher Education. This transformation includes the launch of two new specialized programs: the Made in Italy High School – Taste Curvature, and a four-year Technical Institute for Tourism Marketing and Communication.

Principal Alessandra Di Pietro welcomed the first ten classes at the Campus del Gusto, highlighting the school's commitment to combining academic culture with professional training in gastronomy and tourism. The institution is investing in educational innovation, including 4.0 classrooms, green laboratories, Erasmus projects, and international mobility programs.

The ceremony was attended by various civil and military authorities, including Mayor Carlo Masci, Provincial President Giorgio De Luca, and Honorable Guerino Testa. President De Luca also announced upcoming investments in school buildings and the potential creation of a provincial boarding school.
