De Gildejeugd youth orchestra celebrates 25th music camp

The Gildejeugd, the youth orchestra of the De Gilde harmony band from Asse, recently celebrated its 25th music camp at the Vormingscentrum Destelheide. Held from August 24 to 30, the camp followed the theme ‘De Gildejeugd, 25 lichtjaren vooruit!’ (De Gildejeugd, 25 light-years ahead!).

During the week-long event, young musicians participated in three daily rehearsals alongside various social activities and excursions. The camp featured a specially written song and a dedicated music video depicting a musical journey through space and planets. The festivities concluded with a final concert that presented a musical tour of the cosmos to the audience.
