De Harmonie Vroomshoop launches new music program for children

De Harmonie Vroomshoop has launched ‘De Muziekids’, a renewed AMV music training program designed for children in groups 3 through 6. The short-term course focuses on active discovery rather than heavy theory, allowing children to explore rhythm, movement, marching, note reading, and various instruments through play.

Neuropsychologist Erik Scherder notes that active engagement with music is vital for child development, as it stimulates brain networks and promotes new connections. The program runs from the week after the autumn holidays until the spring holidays, with lessons held every Tuesday evening.
