De Tomaso Pantera classic cars featured in auctions and private sales

Two distinct examples of the De Tomaso Pantera, a hybrid of American Ford muscle and Italian design, are being highlighted in the collector market.

A 1977 De Tomaso Pantera GTS is set to be auctioned at Mecum’s Dallas/Fort Worth event. This rare Maggiora-bodied variant features a modified 403 cubic-inch Cleveland V-8 engine producing 500 horsepower. Having previously been located in Switzerland, this left-hand drive model has 46,000 miles on the odometer and is considered an exceptionally rare prize due to low production numbers for the GTS years.

Separately, a highly original 1972 Pre-L De Tomaso Pantera is available for sale in Raszyn, Poland, for 600,000 PLN. This model retains its original engine and color specifications and has 36,000 miles. Recent maintenance includes engine revisions, suspension updates, and the installation of power steering and rebuilt air conditioning.
