Dead Poet Society announces new album ‘Monarch’

American alternative rock band Dead Poet Society has announced the release of their third studio album, titled ‘Monarch’, scheduled for October 2 via Spinefarm Records.

Alongside the announcement, the band released a music video for the single ‘Cold’, directed by vocalist Jack Underkofler. The track explores themes of social hierarchy and the pressure to perform for others to gain validation, according to drummer Will Goodroad. The album was produced by Paul Meany of Mutemath and mixed by Adam Hawkins.

In conjunction with the release, the band is launching ‘The House’, an interactive online world based on the album’s artwork, where fans can solve puzzles related to the new work. The album will be available in digital formats, CD, and various limited-edition vinyl versions.
