Deadbeats releases ‘We Are Deadbeats Vol. 7’ compilation

Zeds Dead’s record label, Deadbeats, has released ‘We Are Deadbeats Vol. 7’, the seventh installment of its annual flagship compilation. The release arrives during the label’s 10-year anniversary period.

The 17-track project features a diverse range of bass music styles, including deep dub, halftime, experimental bass, trip-hop, and hip-hop-influenced production. The compilation serves as a snapshot of the current state of the genre, featuring both established Deadbeats alumni and emerging artists.

Returning artists include Distinct Motive, Mary Droppinz, Smoakland, and Hydraulix. New and rising contributors to this volume include AYCH, OVEREAZY, Blurrd Vzn, Baclash, En:vy, Industry Plants, DR MAD, Froidy, PapaJay, Mystic Methods, Crawdad Sniper, Die By The Sword, Nikita. the Wicked, Cerdin, Bluff, Poni, rSUN, Floret Loret, and Emrys.
