Deadly motorcycle crash kills 27‑year‑old in Crete, Greece

A 27‑year‑old motorcyclist, identified as Dimitris, died after losing control of his motorcycle on the Machis road in the town of Malia, Crete. The bike veered off its course and collided with a wall, causing fatal injuries. Police and emergency responders from EKAB arrived quickly, but Dimitris was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was the son of Nikos Ergazakis, an operator at Kriti TV. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, 29 July, at the Holy Temple of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Malia. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
