Dean Fujioka to release first photo book in five and a half years

Actor and artist Dean Fujioka will release his new photo book, titled ‘First Kiss’, on December 24, 2026, through Kodansha. This marks his first photo book release in five and a half years.

The book was shot over a six-day period in Sweden, capturing Fujioka’s experiences interacting with local people, music, and nature. The collection is described as a record of a journey where he reflected on his life as a man and a father, marking the beginning of a new chapter. The 128-page A4 volume will include a variety of shots, ranging from stylish portraits to more daring scenes in saunas and showers.

Fujioka noted that he underwent rigorous physical training for the shoot. He mentioned the personal challenges of the process, including strict dietary discipline, which allowed him to embrace more bold imagery. Details regarding release commemorative events will be announced at a later date.
