Dean Mascarenhas and Gagan Karumbaiah complete WRC3 South American campaign

TSI Racing’s Dean Mascarenhas and co-driver Gagan Karumbaiah concluded their South American World Rally Championship (WRC3) campaign with a top-eight finish at Rally Chile Biobío. Driving a Ford Fiesta Rally3 prepared by PH Sport, the Indian National Rally Champions navigated technically demanding gravel stages and forest tracks to secure eighth place in the WRC3 class.

The duo’s performance in Chile followed a recent outing in Rally del Paraguay, where they were contending for a podium position before an accident resulted in a DNF with only one stage remaining. Despite the accident, they achieved a stage win during the Paraguay event.

The South American campaign was part of a strategic program designed to provide the pair with international experience in high-difficulty racing conditions. Their season also included a seventh-place class finish at Rally Islas Canarias and a 12th-place finish at Rally di Roma Capitale.
