DEAS to host cybersecurity hackathon in Palermo

DEAS is launching an initiative to identify and train future cybersecurity talent, beginning with an event in Palermo. On October 28 and 29, the company will participate in the Mondadori Academy Forum Orienta at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa.

As part of the forum, DEAS will host a cybersecurity hackathon designed to allow professionals to evaluate the practical skills of students and technology enthusiasts. The goal is to identify individuals with the natural curiosity and logical capacity required to understand system vulnerabilities and strengthen national defense capabilities.

Stefania Ranzato, founder of DEAS, noted that the initiative aims to transform technical passion and creative problem-solving into highly qualified professional skills essential for modern security.
