Deauville American Film Festival drives tourism surge in Côte Fleurie

The 52nd Deauville American Film Festival, scheduled to run from September 4 to 13, 2026, is driving a significant surge in tourism interest across the Côte Fleurie region. Data from Booking.com indicates a sharp rise in accommodation searches compared to the same period in 2025. Specifically, searches for Deauville have increased by 41.2%, Honfleur by 52.2%, and Trouville-sur-Mer by 62.4%.

International interest is also growing, with notable increases in searches from Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. A particularly dramatic spike was observed in searches originating from Poland, which rose by 617.6% year-on-year.

The festival is characterized by its accessibility to the general public, offering film premieres, screenings, and meetings with film crews. Attendees can participate in voting for the ‘Prix du public de la Ville de Deauville’. This year, the festival will honor several figures, including Ethan Hawke, Brendan Fraser, Faye Dunaway, and Susan Sarandon, whose names will be added to the iconic beach cabins.
