Deborah Ann Woll brushes off criticism of God of War: Laufey

Actress Deborah Ann Woll, who returns as Faye/Laufey in Sony’s upcoming God of War: Laufey, said she is unperturbed by the mixed online reaction to the game’s June 2026 reveal. Speaking at Florida Supercon, she explained that she does not use social media and believes the title will be great, noting that she expected the criticism to affect her more but it did not.

God of War: Laufey marks a shift in the franchise, placing the new heroine Laufey at the forefront while Kratos moves to a supporting role. The game is slated for PlayStation 5, with a release date still to be announced.
