Deca-BFC startups recognized at national i-Lab competition
Three Deeptech startups prepared by Deca-BFC were recognized at the national i-Lab innovation competition in Paris on September 16. The awardees include Oragen Therapeutics from Besançon, which is developing an oral treatment for chronic intestinal inflammation; AbTx from Dijon, which focuses on a new generation of biomedicines for cancer treatment; and Lightspring from Besançon, which specializes in photonic chip printing solutions.
During the ceremony, Anne Le Henanff, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industrial Sovereignty, emphasized that innovation is essential for national sovereignty and competitiveness. Deca-BFC, acting as a public research incubator in conjunction with Satt-Sayens, provides a preparation pathway known as ‘Deca-Challenge’ to help mature Deeptech startups prepare for such national competitions.
