Decathlon CMA CGM to launch women’s ProTeam in 2027

Decathlon CMA CGM has announced the launch of a new women’s UCI ProTeam, scheduled to debut in the 2027 season. Based in La Motte-Servolex, Savoie, the team will utilize the resources of the Decathlon CMA CGM Performance Centre.

The squad will consist of 12 athletes and will be part of the ‘NewGen’ program, which aims to develop young talent and provide a pathway to the WorldTour. The project is designed to support riders transitioning from youth categories to professional levels, with recruitment open to talents from road, cyclocross, and mountain biking disciplines.

The team will be supported by a dedicated staff, including a sports director, coaches, medical professionals, and nutritionists. The athletes will also use Van Rysel equipment, participating in a co-creation process to test and refine high-performance products through direct feedback from racing experience.
