Deceuninck R&D Director Jon Hauberg Gets Industry Fundraising Aid

Jon Hauberg, director of product research and development for Deceuninck North America, suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and multiple skull fractures after a fall in October 2025. He underwent emergency brain surgery, subsequent procedures, and prolonged rehabilitation, and continues to require extensive therapy and daily assistance.

The door and window industry has launched a GoFundMe campaign titled “Jon Hauberg: A Journey of Recovery, Family, and Hope” to help cover his medical costs, rehabilitation, caregiving support, and specialized transportation. Colleagues highlighted his 35‑plus years of innovation and mentorship, noting his recent 326‑mile bike ride across Ohio completed just a week before the accident. His wife Deb, diagnosed with breast cancer during his recovery, will also benefit from the fundraiser.
