Deckers Brands raises earnings guidance despite sales miss

Deckers Brands reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $1.481 billion for the period ending September 30, falling short of the $1.51 billion expected by analysts. Despite the revenue miss, the company raised its full-year earnings guidance to a range of $7.80 to $7.95 per diluted share, bolstered by approximately 52 cents per share from tariff refunds.

Brand performance showed mixed results: HOKA net sales grew 6.8% to $677.2 million, while UGG net sales increased 3.5% to $786.4 million. Wholesale net sales rose 5.5% to $1.093 billion, whereas direct-to-consumer (DTC) net sales declined 1.8% to $387.5 million.

The company adjusted its annual sales forecast to between $5.700 billion and $5.725 billion, a reduction from previous guidance. CEO Stefano Caroti attributed the quarterly earnings beat to disciplined marketplace management and expense control amid a challenging consumer environment.
