Declan Fraser removed from PremiAir Racing seat

Supercars driver Declan Fraser has been released from PremiAir Racing ahead of schedule, following a mid-season driver swap. The team has appointed Cooper Murray to take over Fraser's seat, with Murray signing a long-term contract through 2028.

The decision follows a period of inconsistent performance for Fraser, who currently sits 21st in the championship standings. In contrast, his teammate Jayden Ojeda holds 13th place. The move comes shortly after the Bathurst 1000, where Murray finished sixth and Fraser finished 18th.

Fraser expressed deep disappointment regarding the sudden nature of his departure, stating, “My time with PremiAir Racing has come to an early end. This wasn’t my decision.” Despite the setback, he expressed gratitude to his sponsors, family, and the team members who supported him during his comeback season.
