Declassified FBI UFO Files Detail Nazi Flying Saucer Claim and Supposed Alien Message

A June 8, 1967 FBI memorandum released under the Trump administration’s UFO transparency program records testimony from Paul L. Peyerl, who said he observed a secret Nazi disk‑shaped aircraft in 1943 over Germany’s Black Forest. He described the craft as a "saucer‑shaped vehicle approximately 50 feet in diameter" capable of vertical take‑off, sideways movement, hovering, and speeds up to 1,500 mph at 40,000 feet. The memo notes the report was forwarded to the U.S. Air Force but contains no verification or supporting evidence.

A second declassified memo released with the same disclosure batch claims to contain a message allegedly sent by "aliens" to humanity. Both documents were part of a broader set of FBI files made public in early 2025, and officials have emphasized the lack of concrete proof for either the Nazi aircraft or the alien communication.
