Decohof and Kwekerieje to host biodiversity event in Hoonhorst

Decohof and Kwekerieje in Hoonhorst will host the ‘Kijken bij de Kweker’ event on Saturday, September 19. The event aims to demonstrate how biodiversity begins at the nursery level and how to work in harmony with nature.

Kwekerieje cultivates over 150 species of organic, indigenous, and edible perennial plants. Decohof focuses on hedges, shrubs, and fruit trees, emphasizing sustainable management and natural planting to create green living environments. Visitors can participate in guided tours, learn about biological cultivation, and explore the process of growing plants from seed to sale.
