Dedeman begins rebranding Praktiker stores in Greece

The Greek DIY retail chain Praktiker Hellas is undergoing a rebranding process to become Dedeman. This transition follows the acquisition of the network by the Romanian investment group Paval Holding in the summer of 2025.

The rebranding and extensive renovation efforts have commenced at the flagship store in Tavros, near Athens. The process will gradually extend to the remaining 16 stores in the network to ensure a smooth transition. While initial plans suggested the name change would take place starting in 2027, the transformation is already underway.

Since the acquisition, Dedeman Hellas has implemented measures to consolidate its capital base and reorganize its operational structure. This includes the absorption of Adam Logistics and Petral, alongside capital increases totaling 39 million euros. The company is also modifying its supply and management systems to improve performance and integrate goods manufactured in Romania.
