Dedeman Hellas implements restructuring strategy in Greece
Following its acquisition by the Romanian Paval Holding, the former Praktiker Hellas has rebranded as Dedeman Hellas. The company is undergoing a major restructuring of its Greek operations, focusing on a strategy of acquiring its own retail properties to strengthen its long-term market presence.
In 2025, the company completed renovations for stores in Pallini, Rhodes, Heraklion, and Patras. Through a preliminary agreement with Eurobank, Dedeman Hellas has been acquiring real estate for several locations, including Tavros, Elliniko, Metamorfosi, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Patras, Mandra, and Agia Varvara.
Financial reports for 2025 show a period of transition and challenges. Turnover decreased by 3.4 percent to 179.84 million euros, while EBITDA fell approximately 27 percent to 2.04 million euros. Net losses expanded to 2.1 million euros compared to 1.76 million euros the previous year. To support growth, the company significantly strengthened its capital position, with net equity reaching 57.9 million euros by the end of 2025, up from 3 million euros the year prior, following capital increases and shareholder injections.
