Dee Eskridge earns tryout with San Francisco 49ers

Wide receiver Dee Eskridge, a former second‑round pick of the Seattle Seahawks (2021), is a free agent and has been granted a tryout with the San Francisco 49ers as the 2024 NFL season approaches. After being waived by Seattle in August 2024, Eskridge spent the 2024 season with the Miami Dolphins, recording seven receptions for 106 yards and returning 13 kickoffs for 726 yards before finishing on injured reserve.

The 49ers are evaluating Eskridge alongside other receivers such as Alex Bachman and Trenton Irwin amid concerns that rookie Ricky Pearsall may miss time with a swollen knee.
