Deegenbergklinik to host water rescue training in Bad Kissingen

The Deegenbergklinik in Bad Kissingen will provide free training facilities for local water rescue organizations during the autumn and winter of 2026/2027. This arrangement was facilitated by the city of Bad Kissingen to ensure that training operations for the Wasserwacht Bad Kissingen and the Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft (DLRG) can continue while the Parkwohnstift indoor pool is unavailable due to renovation work.

Under the agreement, the Wasserwacht will train on Thursdays from 18:15 to 21:00, and the DLRG will train on Fridays from 19:00 to 21:00. Clinic Managing Director Dorothea Deeg noted that the schedule is designed to integrate into daily clinic operations without disrupting therapy services for rehabilitation patients. Mayor Dr. Dirk Vogel expressed gratitude to the Deeg family and the clinic for supporting the volunteer rescue organizations.
