Deel acquires AI cybersecurity firm Clarity

Deel has acquired Clarity, an AI-driven cybersecurity firm specializing in identity verification, deepfake detection, and fraud prevention. The acquisition aims to strengthen Deel’s ability to provide continuous identity security throughout the entire employment lifecycle, from pre-hiring verification to secure device provisioning and ongoing access management.

This strategic move follows a significant financial milestone for Deel, which reported exceeding USD 1.5 billion in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) during the first half of 2026. CEO Alex Bouaziz stated that the integration of Clarity’s engineering talent and AI technology will allow the company to build native identity security into its platform, helping organizations manage global teams with increased confidence as AI-driven threats become more sophisticated.
