Deeltwee thrift store in Goes raises nearly 400,000 euros for charity

The second-hand clothing store Deeltwee in Goes is celebrating its fifth anniversary, having raised nearly 400,000 euros for charitable causes since its opening in June 2021.

While the founders initially expected a daily turnover of 200 euros, the shop now frequently reaches daily sales of approximately 1,000 euros. All clothing is donated and processed by volunteers. Previous donations have supported organizations such as Sheltersuit, which provides sleeping bags for homeless people, and the Schone Kleding Campagne, which advocates for better working conditions in the garment industry. The store recently underwent a renovation to celebrate this milestone.
